WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
Tuesday – Thursday // 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Friday // 4:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Saturday // 12:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Sunday // By Booking Appointment Only
To further explain our hours, for example, our last booking on Tuesday starts at 8pm. We will stay open until that booking is done. If there is no 8pm booking, we close the doors at 8:30pm. We take walk-ins Tuesday thru Saturday as space allows.
Reservations are highly recommended and the only way to guarantee an axe throwing lane. The busiest times are Friday and Saturday nights.
We are proud to be first and only indoor axe throwing venue in Peoria.
HOW MUCH IS AXE THROWING?
In short, adults are $30pp and students $25pp. But the best way to calculate your cost is to use our booking system due to taxes, booking fees, and group discounts. Click on Book Now in the menu to view the schedule of availability and ya know, book. Your reservation includes a dedicated AxeMaster, safety briefing, practice throws, and fun games.
You have 2 payment options when you book online – pay the deposit (so you can split the balance when you arrive) or pay in full. All bookings are non-refundable.
IS AXE THROWING SAFE?
Throwing axes are similar to other target sports – provided that participants follow the instructions and safety rules explained by our staff and use common sense. Our experienced and highly trained AxeMasters are with you at all times and monitor your throws for safety and guide you through the entire process.
Only participants that go through our safety course are allowed to enter the throwing area. Players must follow specific instructions from their AxeMaster or risk being that guy/gal that is asked to leave.
CAN MY KIDS THROW AXES?
Kiddos who are age 10 and up, listen and follow safety rules can play. Student discounts are verified by date of birth and/or college ID.
Again, children under 10 years old are not allowed to throw. All ages are welcome in the facility (however it is pretty noisy!).
CAN I BRING A LARGE GROUP OF KIDS?
Aren’t you brave? Players 10-17 years old must have an adult present with them AT ALL TIMES. Waivers for minors are required and can ONLY be signed by the Parent/Guardian. Waivers are found here, in your booking confirmation email, or onsite.
We highly suggest a 5:1 minor to adult ratio in your experience.
A couple of examples…
Your group has (2) 13yr, (3) 10yr, (1) 15yr. We suggest 2 adults playing.
You have the following minors: (1) 11yr and (2) 16 yr. We suggest 1 adult.

CAN I BRING MY OWN AXE?
Only for LEAGUE play. When you throw axes, they can break. We aren’t responsible for that. It’s also not a good idea to walk around an urban environment with an axe. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, we will share.
DO YOU GUYS SERVE FOOD?
We serve pizza and popcorn. Please, no outside food. Here is our MENU.
HOW ABOUT DRINKS?
Contrary to a lot of the press we received, we are not just a bar… we are an axe-throwing venue where you can have a drink as the responsible, grown-axe adult you are.
Beer, wine, well drinks and soda will be available for purchase. We have a great selection of drafts and bottles, check it out on our MENU with UNTAPPD. Any alcohol purchases may be limited while playing. Of course, you must be 21 years or older to purchase alcohol.
If you appear to be intoxicated when you arrive, we will refuse service to you. Yes, we have and we will. Everyone’s safety is our top concern.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK?
That’s a nope… except for birthday cake, especially if you share. There are exceptions for private room rentals and private parties as well.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
You need to arrive before the start time, my friends. We suggest 10-15 minutes. You need time to sign waivers, pay, etc. We also go over safety, rules, and how to throw. We are unable to wait if you or part of your group is late. Therefore you may have less than 90 minutes if you are not ready to go at the booking start time. Please plan ahead for traffic and parking concerns.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Take your pick. There are smaller parking lots (The Block) and on-street parking around the building. On busy weekends, you may have to park a ways away. Be prepared to walk! All parking is free. The entrance is on Washington Street with our logo on the door. Once you step into the lobby, you will see a door for Gone Axe – head up the stairs and we will greet you. Need an address? WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
Comfortable clothes are the best. Think “hip lumberjack” if you want to blend in with the AxeMasters. Also, closed-toe shoes only. Yes, you need to have your feet covered. Other than that, we will provide everything else you need.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
When you book, you are required to at least pay a deposit. The remaining payment can be split up when you arrive.
To avoid forfeiture of your deposit, cancellations and reschedule requests must be made 24 hours prior to your event booking. Cancellations made prior to the 24 hours will receive a store credit to be used for a future booking. In addition, any guest count changes must be communicated 24 hours in advance. You are required to pay for what your guest count is the day you arrive.
